What is YourSong.Life?

YourSong.Life creates personalized songs to honor the lives of loved ones. We work closely with funeral homes and individuals to craft custom music that tells a meaningful story.

How does it work?

1) Submit a request – Add your item choices to the cart and check out. On the Thank You page following your checkout process, you will fill out our form with details about your loved one. This form provides us with information like close family members, favorite hobbies, special memories, personality traits, special vacations/events, etc., as well as a preferred music genre.

2) We compose your song – Our team of professional songwriters and musicians will craft a unique, heartfelt song based on your submission of important life events and relationships. We use everything we can and still have the finished song flow beautifully.

3) Receive your custom song – We’ll deliver the final recording, ready to be used in memorial services, shared with family, or kept as a treasured memory. As soon as Your Song is fully produced, it will be sent to the provided email address. If CDs or USB drives are also ordered, they will get produced and sent out asap to the provided mailing address.

Ordering & Customization

How do I order a custom song?

You can place an order through our website! After completing your purchase, you will be prompted to fill out our custom song request form, where you provide us with details to create your personalized memorial song. If you are working with a funeral home, they will assist you in submitting the request.

Can I choose the genre of the song?

Yes! We offer a variety of genres, including classical, folk, country, jazz, and so much more. Let us know your preference, and we’ll tailor the song accordingly.

How long does it take to receive my song?

We strive to deliver your custom song within 3 business days. If you need a rush delivery of 1 business day, please add the option for rush delivery to your cart, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. If we aren’t able to accommodate a rush delivery at this time, we will reach out to you and find a solution or refund your purchase.

Can I request specific lyrics?

Absolutely. However, just note that you would be providing all of the lyrics for the entire song. We can compose the song structure and arrangement, but at times like this, it is often better to let us handle everything. Our system flows best by doing everything in the process in order to deliver within the timeframe.

Pricing & Delivery

How much does a custom song cost?

Pricing is generally $249 to create a heartfelt custom song that can be kept and shared forever. Similar to the example songs, each song is approximately 3 minutes long.

How will I receive my song?

Your song will be delivered as a high-quality digital audio file via email. Additional formats, such as a physical CD or USB Drive, are available for purchase as well.

Rights & Usage

Do I own the rights to my song?

Yes! You have full rights to use the song for personal purposes, including sharing with family and using it in memorial services.

Can I share my song on social media?

Yes! We encourage you to share your song with loved ones. If you do, we’d love for you to include our website link YourSong.life so your friends have the opportunity to use our services in their time of need.
